The project

We travelled to Ecuador with El Origen to document the people and places behind their organic plantain products.

Working directly with producers on location, we created photography and film capturing the growing process, the surrounding landscapes and the everyday work behind the product. Through interviews and observational moments, the project connects El Origen’s products with their origin and the people who grow them.
